Do at the Zoo

The attraction is holding its Do at the Zoo 2 on Saturday August 9th showcasing some of the finest acoustic talent that Blackpool has to offer with a mixture of original songs and well-loved blues, soul, country, pop and rock classics.

Headline act Cosmo Disney will be joined by local blues rockers The Empty Headed Heroes, up and coming singer-songwriter Clare Thorpe and The Blue Pig Orchestra, featuring members of The Neon Trees, The Deadbeats and The Electric Ladyboys.

All profits from the night will be donated to the Gorilla Organization, formerly known as the Diane Fossey Gorilla Fund, and Amphibian Ark, a global campaign supported by zoos all over the world to save amphibians from extinction.

The evening starts at 7.30pm and there will be face painting and a licensed bar selling beers, soft drinks and burgers.
