Aladdin and his Magic Lamp

George Critchley for PMA Productions brings you his new version of Aladdin and his Magic Lamp.
Returning after last year’s successful production of Jack and The Beanstalk, this year promises to have lots of comedy, wonderful foot tapping songs, talented performers and George is returning as the wacky Wishee Washee.

Based on a Middle Eastern folk tale, Aladdin is an original story from Arabian Nights (or The Book of One Thousand and One Nights) which has been passed down over the years.

It retells the life of a young, poor boy who lives with his mum, Widow Twankey, in a Chinese City (thought to be Peking) who is recruited to find a Magic Lamp by his mysterious Uncle Abanazer, a sorcerer and generally all round bad guy (make sure you boo him kids!).

Come and find out what happens when Aladdin is double crossed and finds himself trapped in the booby trapped cave of wonders.

Meet the Genie who lives in a Lamp and see the magical flying carpet in this new production for all the family and probably the best pantomime in the area!
